Winston Taylor Witmore, 25, was born September 28, 1993 to Rodney L. Witmore and Penny H. Witmore. On Saturday, January 26, 2019, Winston was welcomed into his heavenly home. He grew up with brother, Kyle (Christy) Witmore; sister, Reaghan (Dustin) Herring; and younger brother, Mason Witmore. Never meeting a stranger, Winston went out of his way to let everyone know he cared. He treasured time spent with his loving family, especially his niece, Savvy Adele Herring. He is preceded in death by grandfather, Johnny Witmore and grandmother, Arlie Witmore. He is survived by Leon and Janice Hill of Indian Trail and many cousins, aunts and uncles. After graduating in 2011 from Piedmont High School, Winston worked in the construction field operating heavy equipment. Winston's genuine and compassionate personality left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by his adoring family, friends and all who knew him. The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Hopewell Baptist Church, Victory Campus, located at 8900 Concord Highway, Monroe, NC 28110. Visitation will begin at 11 am and end at 12:45 pm. Graveside services will be at Griffin Cemetery, Monroe, NC.
