William Conrad Starnes (Billy), 76, of Mint Hill, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in his home on January 6, 2018. Billy was born on October 28, 1941 in Charlotte to the late H.B. and Ida Mae Starnes of Charlotte, North Carolina. Billy was a devoted Christian and had been disabled most of his adult life. He enjoyed the visits and company of his close friend, John Cotton. Billy is survived by his loving daughters, Lori Starnes Mason of Locust, NC, Lisa Starnes Polson of Indian Trail, NC, Tamera Starnes Jamison of Red Cross, NC, and Robin Starnes Bryan of Monroe, NC. He loved and cherished his eight grandchildren: Dustin, Jesse, Spencer, Wesley, Robbie, Travis, Mackenzie, and Lance. He was proceeded in death by his brothers: Larry, Steven, and Mike Starnes. A private celebratory service is planned by the family to honor Billy's life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family at 605 Heritage View, Indian Trail, NC 28079.
