� Wallace Lee Higgins, 75, passed away on December 1, 2017. He was born on February 26, 1942 to Harold and Loas Higgins of Marion, Illinois. Wallace is survived by his loving wife, Connie Higgins; sons, Wallace Higgins Jr (Lynn) of Crystal River, Florida, Mark Higgins of Coconut Creek, Florida; daughter, Wendy Higgins of Middleburg, Florida; step-sons, Gari Gatchell (Ida) of Thorton, Colorado, and Ryan Slater of Thorton, Colorado; step-daughter, Danielle Slater-Patterson (Kris) of Waxhaw, North Carolina; grandchildren, Carly Sargent (Wesley), Kelly Rogers (Jake), Madison Higgins, Antonio Mendez, Hunter Patterson, Unity Sandoval, Luke Sargent, Riley Rogers, and Regan Rogers. Wallace was proceeded in death by his parents, Harold and Loas Higgins, as well as his brother, Roger Higgins. � A memorial service will be held in honor of Wallace Lee Higgins at 11:00 AM�on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at The�American Legion Post 208 at 801 South Main Street (Highway 75), Waxhaw, NC.
