Vanette Curtis, 55, of Bladenboro, passed away July 6, 2018. She was born October 27, 1962 in Mecklenburg County to the late Haywood and Lois Packer.� Vanette will be remembered for her love of makeup, nail polish, and dogs (especially Yorkies). She always loved being "Aunt Vanny" to all of her beloved nieces and nephews. Vanette was a great friend to everyone.� Vanette is survived by her loving husband, David Curtis; brothers, Phillip Packer of Whiteville, NC, Robert Packer (Dianna) of Dublin, NC; sisters, Fonda Myers of Charlotte, NC, Toni Matthews (Joe) of Matthews, NC, Sonya Leviner (Donnie) of Indian Trail, NC; many nieces and nephews, Lauren, Ashley, Leslie, Joseph, Megan, Lindsay, Bobby, Chase, Lexy, Amber; and seven great-grand nieces and nephews.� Along with her parents, Vanette was preceded in death by her sister, Bobbie Jo Barker; niece, Kellie Barker; and nephew, Jeffery Myers.� A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Eastwood Forest Baptist Church, 112 Aurora Blvd. Matthews, NC, 28105.� Holland Funeral Service &Crematory has the privilege of serving the Curtis family.
