Vance Karol Guin, 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2026. He was born July 11, 1941 to the Late Onis Guin and Dora Williams Guin.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in passing by his wife, Linda Kay Guin, brothers, Hubert Guin, Bobby Guin, Butch Guin, Larry Guin, Carl Guin, Jerry Guin, Benny Neil Guin, and Harold Guin, sisters, Ruby Guin, Arlene Guin, Betty Jo Guin, Virginia (Jean) Guin, and Karen Ray Guin, and sons, Lee Edward Guin, and Eric Guin.

Mr. Guin is survived by his son, Karol Guin, daughter, Angela Jenkins, brother, Cecil Guin, sister, Shirley Guin and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

He was and avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing when ever he could. He also enjoyed spending time with family and spoiling his grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. Mr. Guin will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00am until 10:45am.
