Tony Anthony Collins was born on May 16, 1961 in Marshville, North Carolina to the late Laura Esther Collins of Wadesboro, North Carolina. He departed his journey on Saturday July 12, 2020. Tony was laid to rest at the Greater Grace Community Missionary Baptist Church cemetery on Monday, July 20, 2020. He attended school at Forest Hills High of Wingate, North Carolina and was a graduate of the class of 1979. He accepted Christ in his life at an early age and joined Olive Branch Baptist Church of Marshville, North Carolina. He later joined Greater Grace Community Missionary Baptist Church of Marshville, North Carolina. Tony loved the Lord God with all his heart, and loved singing his praises everywhere he would go. He loved to grace you with his beautiful voice. His favorite song was, "I'm going to stay under the blood." Tony had a strong religious background which he learned early on in life from the late Mary Julia Deese. He was the father of four children, all of which are from North Carolina; Christopher Anthony Lockhart of Monroe, North Carolina, Lashunda Allen of Wadesboro, NC, and Daisya Howard Shelby and Christopher Tillman of Marshville, NC Tony leaves to cherish his memories, his father Sam Earl Broadway of North Carolina; his five brothers, of North Carolina, Elvis Lee Collins, Timothy Lane Collins, Ricky Dale Collins, and Earl Antonio Broadway; his four sisters, Subrena Collins of Kannapolis, NC, Truth S.J Mchensen of Virgina, Eurica M. Rogers of Maryland, and Annette Broadway of North Carolina. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles whom he loved very much and who all loved him dearly. Tony also had four special friends, Ricky Staton, Bobby Lee Marsh, Brenda Ingram, and Amy Wilson. Tony's memory will be cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
