Tommy Edward Presley, 74, passed away July 2, 2019. Tommy was born in Union County, NC on February 16, 1945 to the Wriston and Virgie Pressley. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday July 14, 2019 at West Concord Cemetery in Concord, NC. Surviving is his son, Tommy Presley Jr.; daughters, Carolyn Harkey (Richard), April Purser (Harold), Tammy Smetzer (Danny), Jeannie Pigg (Jerry); his brother, Herman Pressley (Carolyn); grandchildren, Casie Yandle (Andrew), Madison Purser, Daniel Smetzer, Richard Harkey Jr., Jennifer Harkey; great grandchildren, Christine Yandle and Samuel Harkey. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Presley; brothers, Junior Pressley, John Neal Pressley, Hurley Pressley, James Pressley, Jacob Pressley; his sisters, Mary Hazel Dean, Willie Ruth Isenhour; and his granddaughter, Ashley Purser.
