Timothy Ray
Morrow
Aug 21, 1961 — Sep 19, 2026
Tim Morrow, 65, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, unexpectedly passed away at his home on Saturday, September 19, 2026. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness, generosity, and love touched the lives of so many.
Tim shared 35 years of marriage with his wife, Kim, and together they built a loving family and raised their two children, Catherine, 30, and Brandon, 29. He was deeply devoted to his family and he was a constant source of support, guidance, and unconditional love.
Tim was born on August 21, 1961, in Greenville, SC, to Billy Ray and Linda Morrow. He met Kim in 1991, and they were married on Christmas in 1992. They resided in the Charlotte area, where they raised their family.
Outside of work and family, Tim enjoyed the things that brought him the most joy. He loved skiing at Snowshoe in West Virginia, spending weekends at the boat in Myrtle Beach with Kim, taking beach trips with family and friends, and cheering on his favorite sports teams. He also had a special place in his heart for Charlie, his daughter’s Golden Retriever, Prince, her cat, and Sneezy, his son's cat. He had a way of making the most of every moment and truly lived life to the fullest.
Above all, Tim will be remembered for the love he had for his family and friends, his generous spirit, his strong faith, and the countless ways he showed up for the people he cared about. His sudden passing leaves an immeasurable void, but the memories he created and the love he gave will remain with his family and friends forever.
Tim is survived by his wife, Kim; his children, Catherine and Brandon; his mother, Linda; his brothers, James, Clint, and Michael; and his sister Laney. He was predeceased by father Billy Ray and sister Lisa.
Funeral will be held at Good Shepard United Methodist Church on Friday September 25, 2026 at 2pm. A burial will be held at Sharon Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.
There will be a celebration of life at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery following both the funeral and burial services.
