Ted Lewis McAteer, 50, passed away December 19, 2018. He was born on August 17, 1968 in Rock Hill, SC to George and Betty McAteer. Ted will be remembered as a die hard Carolina Panther fan, an avid lover of fishing, and the best grandpa. A service to celebrate his life will be held at the home of his daughter Jennifer Herring on December 22, 2018 at 1:00PM. Ted is survived by his fiancée of 21 years, Pam Johnson; mother, Betty McAteer; son, Josh Johnson; daughters, Jennifer Herring, Meagan Starnes; brothers, Jeff Benfield, Billy McAteer; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father George Wesley McAteer; and brother, Darrell Wayne McAteer.
