Tangela Lee Crowder the daughter of Walter and Cynthia Tanner Crowder, born on May 10, 1991, in Monroe, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on February 11, 2026. Tangela was a loving daughter, sister, mother and friend.

A Public Viewing will be held from 3:00PM until 8:00PM on Monday February 16, 2026 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Nicey Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 318 Camden Rd Marshville, NC 28103. Followed by burial at Nicey Grove Church Cemetery.

Tangela was a proud graduate of Monroe High School and later took her education further at Winston Salem State University, reflecting her commitment to personal growth and service to others. Throughout her life, she was known as a loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend. Her affectionate nature was complemented by her good sense of humor, genuine smile, and an uplifting spirit, which endeared her to everyone she met. Tangela had a unique ability to connect with people, never meeting a stranger, and she will be remembered fondly for her outgoing and expressive personality.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Oscar Tanner, Annie Louise Tanner, Rayford Kirkley, her aunt Gwendolyn Tanner.

She leaves behind her precious daughter A’mora Lee Crowder Powell. Tangela leaves to cherish her memories to her loving father and mother Walter and Cynthia Crowder. Her grandparents Betty Knotts Kirkley and Theodore “Bill” Marsh. Her siblings Angela Frazier (late husband Lewis), Clifford Barrett, Tyronia Blount, Dedrick McManus, Jordan McManus, Catral Tanner, Delilah Crowder and devoted cousin Miosha “Mimi” Craig(Nathan). Host of Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

Tangela Lee Crowder's spirit and kindness will leave a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who cherish the memories created with her.
