Susan
Jordan
Jun 28, 1961 — Sep 6, 2026
Susan Bothmann Jordan, 65, of Mount Croghan, South Carolina, passed away on September 6, 2026. She leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and memories that will be treasured forever by the people who knew and loved her.
Susan was from Sarasota, Florida, and carried with her a lifelong love of the water. She loved living in Florida and often hoped that one day she would be able to move back home. Being near the water brought her happiness and peace, and she treasured the memories made there.
Susan was a loving wife, mother, Oma, sister, aunt, and friend. She had a caring and generous heart and found joy in the people and animals she loved. She had a special love for dogs and opened her heart and home to several through fostering. Her compassion for animals was just one of the many ways she showed the kindness and love that came so naturally to her.
Her family was her greatest blessing. Susan adored her husband, daughter, and especially her granddaughters, Ellie and Caroline. Being their Oma was one of the greatest joys of her life. She loved taking the girls to the park, playing games with them, and simply spending time together. The memories they made with their Oma will be cherished forever, and the love she gave them will remain a part of them always.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jesse Jordan; her daughter, Courtney Sherbo and her husband, Stephen, of Marshville, North Carolina; and her beloved granddaughters, Ellie and Caroline, of Marshville, North Carolina. She is also survived by her sisters, Linda Bothmann, Diane Bothmann, and Barbara Guerrero, all of Mulberry, Florida, and Tricia Miller of Pageland, South Carolina; her nephews, Michael Guerrero, David Guerrero, and Kevin Guerrero; her niece, Jamie Miller; and her great-nephew, Brayden Miller, along with extended family and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Dolores Bothmann.
Susan will be remembered for her loving heart, her compassion, her strength, and the love she so freely gave to her family, friends, and animals. She had a way of making the people she loved feel cared for, and her presence brought warmth and love into the lives of those around her.
Though her absence leaves a heartache that words cannot express, the memories she created will live on forever. Her family will carry her love with them—in the calm of the water, in the unconditional love of a dog, in the laughter of children playing at the park, and in all the little moments that bring back memories of her.
Susan will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
A private funeral service for family and close friends will be held.
