Mr. Stephen Allen Melton, 29, passed away January 9, 2022. Stephen was born in Union County, NC on September 1, 1992 to Gerald Wayne Melton Sr. and Doris "Resa" Melton. He will be remembered for being full of life and having jokes for everyone! He was the family clown and always brought a smile to your face. He loved to play golf, visit the beach, hang out with his family, and he would give you the shirt off his back. Thru his time at Ground 40, he began his relationship with the Lord and was baptized as well. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Forest Hills Baptist Church, 2006 Willis Long Road Monroe, NC 28110. Rev. Neal Workman and Rev. Wesley Keziah will be officiating. Stephen is survived by his mother, Doris "Resa" Melton; brother, Gerald W. Melton Jr. (Amber); nephews, Craven & GW; and niece, Kelly. He was preceded in passing by his father Gerald W. Melton Sr. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
