My childhood was great fun with a loving family and wonderful friends. These friends Sandy, Joanne, Merri and Terri have remained close lifelong friends. My brother David and I both worked part time in high school and each of us bought cars, mine being a Volks wagon bug!

The father of my children was Jerry Adams and he passed away in 2000. We have 3 grown children, Thomas, Ruth, and Grace. Also 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

My college education was finished at Tarrant County College in Texas while raising 3 children. The jobs that I enjoyed were being a Social Worker for the Dept. of Human Services for the State of Texas. Also being an Administrative Assistant at a local college.

In 2002 | became a Stephen Minister with the Methodist Church in Rowlett, TX. This is the most rewarding volunteer experience, to walk alongside someone while they are having a hard time.

In 2005 I met and married my husband in Texas. After a job transfer, William and I moved to Charlotte, NC in 2012 for his company. Two of my children and grandchildren remain in Texas and they are all grown and well established there. One daughter and grandchildren live in North Carolina.

Another one of my joys all my live has been sketching and watercolor to be able to record, in this way, things that are beautiful and interesting.

Our move to Brevard in 2019 after retirement has been very nice. The climate being ideal and being able to walk to town plus the friendly people has made it ideal. Our church family will always be a blessing to us.
