Sandi Ghent Fields, 57, passed away on August 28, 2026.

Born on October 13, 1968, in Union County, North Carolina, Sandi was raised by her loving parents, William P. Ghent and Zelda Ghent. She graduated from Indian Land High School in 1986 and worked as a draftsperson, providing drafting services for government agencies, museums, and police departments.

Sandi enjoyed fishing, yard sales, and shopping. She will be remembered for her kind heart, sense of humor, and the joy she brought to those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her dad, William P. Ghent.

She is survived by her mother, Zelda Ghent; her sister, Tammie Jones (Tim); her brother, William D. Ghent; her stepdaughters, Jessie Esqken and Erin Stutts; her nieces, Dora Mullins, Deanna Jagur, and Ashlyn Moss; and her special friends, Babe and Donna O'Neal.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 04, 2026 at Banks Presbyterian Church, 10012 New Town Rd Waxhaw, NC 28173. Sandi will be laid to rest immediately following the service. 

The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 10:00am to 10:45am.
