� Robert "RJ" Scott Swinney, 19, passed away March 22, 2017. RJ was born in Union County, on December 20, 1997 to Michelle Diane Phillips and Robert Scott Swinney Sr. A service to celebrate RJ's life will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Covenant Baptist Church. Rev. Rile Baucom and Rev. Gerald Broome will be officiating.� The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM and again immediately following the funeral service. RJ is survived by in addition to his parents by his brothers; Kyle Ray King, Nathan Swinney, sisters; Hailey Nicole King, Olivia Swinney, aunt; Angie Phillips, Christina Phillips, Wendy Phillips, Doris Byrum (Jeff), Kathy Eldin (Mike) and children Maddy Eldin, Ahmed Eldin (Katie) and their daughter Ansley Eldin, Mona Elsaghir� (Cherif) and their children Ayden Elsaghir and Safiya Elsaghir, great grandmother; Mildred Phillips and� Brianna Griffin, Hannah Griffin, and Savannah Griffin, grandfather; Tony Phillips,� cousins; Chad Forester (Kalynn), and Justin Swinney, Ashley Swinney, Chris Swinney, Bobby Byrum(Iris) and their children Caitlyn and Abigail, Scott Byrum (Christy) and their children Steven Byrum (Sheena), Sierra Byrum (Tyler), Shelly, Owen, Tyler, and Blake, Derrick Byrum (Jennifer) and their children Kayla, Ian, Alissa, and Lucas Byrum.
