Rita Ann Miles, 77, passed away March 17, 2019. Rita was born in Union County, NC on July 17, 1941 to the late Wayne and Janie Moore Edwards. Rita volunteered at the H.E.L.P. Center with her daughter over the years. She loved her church and the ladies ministry. She was a kind gentle soul who loved her family dearly. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Sardis Baptist Church in Indian Trail. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Surviving is her husband, Jimmy Miles; sons, Mitchell Eudy & Jason Miles, her daughter, Tara Quinn; her sister, Patsy Edwards Smith; she had 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Norris Edwards and Jimmy Edwards. The family ask in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to H.E.L.P.
