Richard Erwin Harden from Polkton passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019. He was born in Richmond County February 25, 1946 to the late Clyde and Maggie Harden.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday July 21at Word of Life Church in Peachland with Rev. Tommy McKenzie and Rev. Bobby Eller officiating.
Visitation will begin before the Service from 1:30 pm until 2:45 pm The Service will begin at 3:00 pm
Richard was a former electrician before his retirement. He also loved hunting, fishing, riding his 4 wheeler and spending time with his Grandchildren. He was a devoted husband to his wife Judy and they were inseparable!
He leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Judy Ragland Harden of the home, his 4 sons Rick and Lynn Harden of Laurel Hill, William Harden of Rockingham, John and Maryury Harden of Fayetteville, Clyde and Emily Harden of Rockingham. One stepson, Tommy Winfield Jr.
He had 12 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. Two special sister in laws, Vickey Henry and Denise Whitley and Special friends Mark and Janet White.
