Richard (Dick) Andrew Baillieux, 42 of Mint Hill, NC left this life on Sunday, April 9, 2023.
Dick was born on August 19, 1980 in Lackawanna, NY to Richard & Judith Baillieux.
In 1997 he moved to the Mint Hill area with his family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112.
As a young boy, Dick was involved in the Boy Scouts of America. He loved camping and fishing
with his father and the scouts. He also enjoyed riding bikes with his friends on the trails
they made through the woods. He played baseball and football in school as well as recreational
leagues (CSRA). His love of camping, fishing, disc golf and anything outdoors continued throughout
his life.
In high school, he studied and took courses at Boces afterschool program in the automotive field with
a main study in mechanics. Dick had a passion for working on cars.
As an adult, he earned all ASE certifications available as a mechanic. He also kept up with all the new technologies
and certifications to expand his knowledge in the automotive field.
Dick enjoyed playing cards with his sister. As well as calling her at random to go out to eat.
He loved his Harley and riding with the wind in his face. He called this his therapy.
He was a member of the Pub Runners MC and he loved spending time with his brothers and sisters.
Dick is survived by his father Richard (Rich) Baillieux, his sister Michelle Baillieux and his fiance Paulette Tarlton.
He was received in heaven by his mother Judith (Judy) Baillieux. He is also survived by a large family of aunts,
uncles, cousins and friends.
Rich and Michelle would like to thank you all for the out pouring of love and support during this difficult time.
