IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Randy Nelson
Deese
March 19, 1950 – January 23, 2026
Randy Nelson Deese, a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on March 19, 1950, in Monroe, North Carolina, Randy filled his years with kindness and a profoundly down-to-earth presence that left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
His passion for life was reflected in his many hobbies, most notably his love for surf fishing at the beach. Each year, he cherished the time spent with his son during their fishing tournaments, creating memories that transcended time. Randy's laid-back attitude made him a pleasure to be around, and he undoubtedly entertained countless friends and family while DJing at local gatherings by the lake. His friendly demeanor and competitive spirit shined brightly during cornhole games, where laughter and camaraderie surrounded him.
Randy was not just an individual; he was a collector of memories and moments that shaped the lives of those lucky enough to be a part of his journey. He owned a remarkable 1931 Yellow Ford Street Rod Car, which stood as a tribute to his lively personality and love for adventure.
Randy is survived by numerous beloved family members and friends, all of whom will carry his spirit and love in their hearts forever. He joins his parents, Rufus and Margaret Deese, in eternal rest, but his legacy will continue to flourish in the stories shared and the love imparted to those he cherished.
