Dateline: Charlotte, NC Perry ONeal Rape, 46, passed away December 24, 2015. Perry was born in Union County on November 25, 1969 to Parley ONeal Rape and Frances Burgess. Perry had a great love of music, and a beautiful voice. Perry had a great personality and loved to joke and brighten people's day. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Smyrna United Methodist Church, 5019 Medlin Road, Monroe, NC, 28112. There will be a visitation following the service. Perry is survived by his father, Parley Rape of Monroe; grandmother, Gladys Rape of Marshville; sisters, Dana Rape of Monroe, and Jessica Rape of Monroe; brothers, Rusty Robinson of Indian Trail, and Robbie Robinson of Salisbury; and his best friend Charlene "Turner" Johnson of Myrtle Beach.
