Dateline: Marshville, NC Patsy Ann Austin Griffin, 80, passed away on February 22, 2016.� Patsy was born in Union County on July 24, 1935 to Lindsey Franklin Austin and Ludie Fae (Traywick) Austin.� At the request of the family, no public service will be held.� A private service will be held by family and close friends in their home.� Patsy is survived by her loving husband, Brack Thomas Griffin, of Marshville, one granddaughter, Heather Griffin, of Monroe, and two sisters, Lois Brewer and Kate Faulkner, both of Marshville.� Patsy was preceded in death by her son, Jim Griffin (Marshville).� In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112 to assist with final expenses.� Holland Funeral Service is honored to care for the Griffin family.� Online condolences may be made at www.hollandfuneralservice.com. �
