It is with great sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Nancy Nieves Cooper, to many known as "Mama Coop." Born on June 1st, 1964 and lived in Monroe, North Carolina.

Nancy was a beloved wife, mother, grandma, mother in law, daughter, sister and aunt. She passed peacefully on March 21st, 2026 holding the hand of her greatest love David Cooper, her husband who is mourning her deeply.

She loved her family deeply, her biggest love was watching her sons David and Zack grow up and succeeding in life. Her door was always open to anyone that needed it. She was always involved and hands on in anything that included her children & grandchildren, her love was unwavering.

Nancy is survived by her husband, David Cooper; her father and mother Charles and Tiny; her sons and daughter in laws, David(Rose), Zachary(Toni), and Antwaun Campbell; her grandkids Riley and Dawson; her mother in law Phyllis; and numerous sisters and brothers who all miss her dearly. Let us not forget her sweet dog Coco, who is missing her favorite human. Her grand pups also meant so much to her, Pablo, Sarabi and Bellatrix.

The family would like to thank all the support and love that we've been shown during this time, Nancy was loved by so many and it is impossible to put into words how precious she is to those who love her. She will be greatly mourned and missed.
