Myrna Jean Mullis Simpson, 75, passed away August 26, 2019. Ms. Simpson was born in Georgetown, SC on September 24, 1943 to the late Heath and Edith Grier Mullis. Myrna was a devoted mother, amazing Mamaw, and loved the beach. Funeral services will be private. Ms. Simpson is survived by her sons, Jarrod S. Simpson (Lori) of Charleston SC, Robbie E. Wright of Marshville, NC, Barry W. Wright (Della) of Denver, NC; daughter Melissa S. Tucker (Chris) of Marshville, NC; brothers, John Mullis (Sara), and Darrell Mullis (Linda); sister Janice Beasley (Jon); ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents Myrna was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Warren Simpson; and son, Gregory Lee Wright. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
