A beloved mother to be, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Zoeie Quinn Helms left this world unexpectedly, at 24 years old, on Oct. 31, 2020. Born in Monroe, NC on December 28th 1995, daughter of Tracy Moncrief and Clint Helms. Zoeie graduated from the Central Academy Of Technology and Arts in 2014. She was a pediatric certified nursing assistant and attended school to become a dental hygiene assistant. She was funny, outgoing and vivacious. She was a lover of cooking, gardening, succulents, anything pink, and everything had to be bedazzled. A memorable phobia of Zoeie's was having to clean any dirty silverware. We will always remember her with a bow in her hair, popping bubble gum or crunching ice. As an expectant mother of twins, Zoeie loved her family and always longed to have a family of her own. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed. When you think of Zoeie, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Don't forget how she loved you with all her "pea-pickin heart." Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Continue to live for the ones we've lost along the way. Zoeie passed away with her unborn children Paxton, and Paisley Helms. Zoeie was preceded in passing by her unborn daughter, Hinley Helms, great-grandparents Edith Walden, Ira Walden, Mary Forbis, Elton Hubbard, Roy and Faye Helms, Frank and Fannie Davis. She leaves behind her mother, Tracy Moncrief and husband Jay, father, Clint Helms and wife Romonia, sisters Isabella Helms and Gabriella Helms, great grandparents, TC Helms, Margaret Hubbard, grandparents Bill and Patty Hammond, Darnell Hammond, Brenda and Craig Helms; Aunts Carla Beaver and husband Gerald, Lisa Love. Uncles, Chass Helms and wife Julie, Jesse Hammond, Josh Helms and wife Heather; countless friends and loved ones. A visitation will be held 11:00 A.M until 12:45 P.M, Thursday November 5th. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 P.M in Secrest Grove Baptist Church located at 4505 Weddington Rd. Monroe, NC 28110. Zoeie will be laid to rest at Lakeland Memorial Park.
