Theresa Davies, 89 of Clinton, NJ, formerly of Hillside, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 21 surrounded by family in Waxhaw, NC. She was a loving Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Theresa loved to cook, read, complete crossword puzzles, and was always up for a good time. She will be greatly missed.

Theresa was born in Nanticoke, PA to Stanley and Blanche (Kaczka) Madurski. She attended Nanticoke High School, graduating in 1951. She married George W. Davies Jr. in 1953 and together they moved to Hillside, NJ. It was here that they raised three children and hosted many holidays and family gatherings. In the early 1990s, Theresa moved to Hunterdon County, NJ to help raise her grandchildren and be closer to her beloved children. She could often be found enjoying the porch of her daughter's home, driving around Clinton, NJ with one of her several grandchildren, or preparing meals while watching a game on the television in the kitchen of whichever home she was helping in at the time.

Theresa was the devoted mother of Lynne DiLeo (Glenn), Lisa Panarese (Louis), and Brian who preceded her in death in 2013. Seven grandchildren whom she helped raise and shared many stories with: Angela Penyak (Michael), Jillian Hofer (Sean), Jessica Wilchinski (Matthew), Devan, Nicholas, Casey, and Morgan. She was also blessed with six Great Children: Castor, Nicholas, Scarlett, Sean, Grace, and Luke. Dear sister of Stanley and Sylvester Madurski, both of Pennsylvania, and the departed Bernadine Rasavage and Sylvia Winters, and many nieces and nephews.

At Theresa's request, services will not be held.
