It is with great sadness that Catherine Lisenby Hinson and Donald (Ernie) Hinson announce the passing of their daughter, Stephanie Hinson Kirkley, in Monroe, NC, on April 15, 2024, after a long battle with brain and spinal cancer. Stephanie was born in Lancaster, SC, on November 2, 1966.

Her family grieves at her leaving and will miss her beautiful, radiant smile and kind heart. But they are relieved her suffering is over, and she is with her grandparents, Lawson and Thelma Lisenby and Buck and Louise Hinson, who preceded her in death.

Stephanie is survived by her parents; her son, Donald Kirkley (Chandler); her brother, Grant Hinson (Jordan); three grandsons, Rhett, Watson, and Lake; her uncle, Mickey Lisenby; and her aunt, Anita Hinson Cauthen.

A private memorial service will be later.
