Sondra "Sandy" Kay Moser, 72, passed away on Saturday, June 17th, 2023. She was born on February 1st, 1951 to the late James Odell Mcateer and Gladys Wright . In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her beloved husband, James Lloyd Moser Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm, on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112.

Sandy was a loving mother and grandmother and a devout Christian. She loved everyone and was the most giving and kind hearted person there was. She will be truly missed and cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, James Lloyd Moser III, and April Laney (Tracy); grandchildren, Amber Moser and Evan Moser, Holly Laney and Logan Laney; and one great-grandchild, Lincoln Mullis.

Sometimes life seems hard to bear, Full of sorrow, trouble, and woe, It's then I have to remember, That it's in the valleys I grow

If I always stayed on the mountain top, And never experienced pain, I would never appreciate God's love, And would be living in vain

I have so much to learn, And my growth is very slow, Sometimes I need the mountain tops, But it's in the valleys I grow

I do not always understand, Why things happen as they do, But I am very sure of one thing, My Lord will see me through

My little valleys are nothing, When I picture Christ on the cross, He went through the valley of death, His victory was Satan's loss.

Forgive me Lord, for complaining, When I'm feeling very low, Just give me a gentle reminder, That it's in the valley I grow

Continue to strengthen me Lord, And use my life each day, To share your love with others, And help them find their way

Thank you for the valleys Lord, For this one thing I know, The mountain tops are glorious, But it's in the valleys I grow!
