Shirley Beatty Love, 83, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. She was born February 24, 1938 to the late Jack Beatty and Henrietta Beatty. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Buford Love, children, Perry Love, Jeffrey Love, and Penny Russell, and grandson, Cody Stockton. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Stanfield, 200 NC-200, Stanfield, NC 28163. The family will gather with friends at the church from 1:00pm until 1:45pm prior to the service. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Judy Braswell and her husband, Greg; grandchildren, Tiffany Wayne (Jeremy) and their chidlren, Stella Abram, and Elam; granddaughter, Carmen Rape (Cody) and their children, Maverick and McCoy; grandson, Lucas Braswell; and two sisters, Nova Stephens and Nellie Hatley. Shirley's family rests easy knowing that she is at peace and finally in the presence of her Lord and Savior. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Union County and to West Stanly Christian Ministries. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
