Sherry Lynn Poplin, 64, went home to be with her loving Lord and Savior on March 27, 2021. She was born in Monroe, NC on March 4, 1958 to surviving parents, Boyce and Sue Poplin. Sherry loved living at the beach and spending time with her family. She was also a fiercely loyal person who would come to the aid of family and friends at a moments notice. Sherry's unconditional love for people will be a part of her legacy. She worked for her loving father at Poplin Machine Company for many years. Along with her parents, she is survived by her two sons, Bradley of Matthews, NC and Brandon of North Myrtle Beach, SC; three sisters: Debbie Engle (Ed) of Monroe, NC; Joanie Burns (Doug) of Matthews, NC; Marilyn Harding (Mike) of Monroe, NC and one brother, Jerry Poplin(Karen) of Indian Trail, NC; and 10 nieces and nephews. A memorial service to honor Ms. Poplin's life will be held on April 24, 2021 at 2:00pm at Lighthouse Family Church 2028 Wesley Chapel Rd. Indian Trail, NC 28079.
