Ms. Sherry Lynn Harrison Lane, 71, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021. Ms. Lane was born in Rowan County, NC to the late Arthur Ross Harrison and Edith Nancy Coble Harrison. She will be remembered as being very active with Dolls on a Mission, and active in her beloved church family at Philadelphia Baptist Church. She loved and was a major supporter of Forest Hills Sports and the Union County Shock travel soft ball team. A visitation will be held Thursday evening August 26, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Philadelphia Baptist Church. A service to celebrate her life will be held Friday morning August 27, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Philadelphia Baptist Church Sanctuary. Ms. Lane will be laid to rest at Rowan Memorial Park. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Nancy Glidewell; grandchildren, Christopher Glidewell Jr., Kalynn Glidewell Forester, and Ava Rich; great grandchildren, William Forester, and Dallas Forester. In addition to her parents she was preceded in passing by her brother, John Arthur Harrison. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
