Sheri Renee Byrd, 58, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 3, 1962 to the late Emmett Henry Means and Nellie Robinson Means. The family will host a private memorial service at a later date. Sheri is survived by her children, Josh Luke Byrd and Amy Renee Hicks; grandchildren, Daniel Byrd, Adam Hicks, and Alaina Hicks; siblings, Greg Allen, Jeff Lynn, Tony Keith, and Debbie June Copeland; husband, John Lynn Byrd, and many other special friends and family. Sheri was a light in this world, to know her was to love her. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and amazing friend. She was a very hard-working, independent, woman who loved her job as a travel nurse. She traveled all around the world but noted that out of all of the places, she had a special love for Montana and its beautiful mountains. When she wasn't traveling and exploring she loved being with her family and friends. No matter where she was she always made sure to hold close relationships with all of her loved ones. She encouraged everyone to explore the world and all of God's beautiful creations, to live life to the fullest.
