Sara Leone Edwards, 78, passed away September 5, 2025. She was born June 24, 1947 to the late Don Edwards and Virginia Sistare Edwards.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.

Sara is survived by her children, Michael Hodge (Lisa) of Rock Hill, SC, Jim Hodge of Waxhaw, NC, Jeffrey Hodge (Nichole) of Waxhaw, NC, and Deborah Bennett (Mark) of Richburg, SC; grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Kyndall, Paul, Jenna, Hayley, James, and John; great-grandchildren, Maisy, Delilah, and Oliver.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation, Carolina Chapter, 8508 Park Road, Suite #157, Charlotte, NC 28210.
