Samantha Kathryn Kuhn, 24, of Waxhaw NC, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 22, 2022.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Holland Funeral Service. Visitation will be held at 1:00 followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00pm. The family welcomes everyone to join them after the service at Holland Funeral Service for a reception with light refreshments provided.

Samantha was born in High Point, NC on September 16, 1998 to Edward Kuhn and Kristen Kemling. She was easy-going, very kind, ever-ready to welcome and include anyone to her circle. She always had a smile on her face. In 2016, she graduated from Cox Mill High School in Concord, NC where, in spite of her shyness, she really shined in her drama class.

Samantha's heart was bigger than big, especially for her family, whom she loved so deeply. As a protective big sister who loved her little sister fiercely; Samantha always gave great advice. For her brother, she was a good listener and always offered a shoulder to lean on. Samantha loved animals and, after years of attending horse camps, volunteered endless hours at Latta Plantation. She also volunteered at a nursing home during Christmas and made gingerbread houses with the seniors, warming their hearts with her smile. Ever selfless, she would often give up Christmas gifts to support families in need. Samantha was a country girl at heart who loved her boots and country music! She loved children and they loved her too. Her precious life was just beginning, and she was the happiest she had ever been. Samantha was blooming into a beautiful woman, and her parents couldn't have been prouder. May her love, generosity, and kindness inspire others; and her shining soul continue to live on, both through her family and all that knew her.

Samantha is predeceased by her sister Anna Kuhn, her paternal grandmother Margaret Kuhn, and her beloved dog Hank.

She is survived by her father and second mom, Edward and Kimberly Kuhn, her mother and second dad, Kristen and Randy Kemling, a brother Baker Kuhn, a sister Alli Kuhn, her paternal Grandfather Jack Kuhn, her maternal grandmother Carol Smith, her maternal grandfather Bob Lindberg, several second grandparents, along with several amazing aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her beloved pets Jake, Benny, Luna, Bella and Ninja all of whom she adored.
