Sadie Jane Helms Hitt Pinyan, 77, passed away September 10, 2025. She was born in Union County, North Carolina on December 29, 1947, to the late Nancy and Earl Helms.

In addition to her parents, Sadie is preceded in passing by her spouses, Richard Frederick Hitt and Edward Pinyan, her siblings, Whiteford Helms, Gary Helms, Harper Helms, Pete Helms, Grady Helms, Beulah Helm, Pauline Hargett.

Sadie loved sewing, puzzles, gardening, playing with her grandkids and watching her grand puppies.

She is survived by her son, Richard Arthur Hitt(Carol), Daughter, Nancy Melanise Hitt Miller(Billy Jr) Grandchildren, Eric Zachary Miller(Jennifer), Brittany Ana Miller Taylor(Dalton), Sarah Faith Miller, Madison Hitt, Hailey Hitt, Tori Hitt and her Great- grandchild Addison Rose Taylor.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive Monroe, NC 28112. A graveside service will be held at Waxhaw City Cemetery at 2:00pm on Sunday September 14, 2025. 111 Arbor Drive Waxhaw, NC 28173.
