Phyllis McGowen O'Shields, 75, went to her heavenly home September 11, 2025. She was born May 7, 1950, to the late Fred and Mildred McGowen. Phyllis will be remembered for the love she showed to her family and friends. She cherished every moment she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Phyllis also loved her cat, Molly and her dog, Casper. She dedicated a lot of her time volunteering to help the less fortunate. Grams will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. Phyllis will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn East Cemetery immediately following the service.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Ken Davis (Lisa), and Tammy Kearns (Mike); grandchildren, Emily Sneed and Emma Davis; and great-grandchildren, Jacobi Sneed, Evelyn Sneed, and Aries Sneed.
