Ms. Peggy A. Jones, 74, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 4, 2025. She was born May 5, 1951 to the late Floyd Douglas Jones Sr. and Evelyn Sanders Jones. Peggy will be remembered for her strong will, sassy attitude, big heart, and the love she showed to her family and friends. When Peggy loved, she loved with her whole heart. Peggy's family finds comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her parents, brother, Doug, and her baby sister, Millie.

Services will be held from the graveside at 1:00pm on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.

Peggy is survived by her brother, Sidney Jack Jones of the home, sisters, Gloria Jones Parker (David) of Monroe, NC, Cathy Jones Miller (Herb) of Boone, NC, Penny Jones Godwin (Tommy) of Peachland, NC; nephews, Chris Miller of Boone, NC, James Parker (Alissa) of Monroe, NC, and Brandon Godwin of Charlotte, NC; niece, Angie Beach (Kevin) of Wingate, NC; and numerous other family members and friends.
