Obituary

Bobbi Jo Ramsey, 67, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. She was born June 29, 1953 to the Margaret Tedder Jarrett and the late Paul Tedder. She is also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Mike. The family will have a private service to celebrate the life of Ms. Bobbi Jo at her home on November 20th, 2020, 2:00 pm until… Bobbi Jo is survived by her spouse, Bobby Ramsey; children, Lynn (Allison), Thomas (Janelle), Bobbie Jo (John), Holly (Patrick), and Dalton; grandchildren; Alex (Mario), Wynter (Cody), Alayna, Brenna, Mattox, Gracie, Chance, and Chase; great-grandchildren, Calvin, Jayden, and Emma; siblings, Cotton (Jan), Joan, and Johnny; and a host of many special nieces and nephews. Ms. Bobbi Jo was the most selfless lady and had the biggest heart. There were many things that she held close to heart but above all else, she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family was always important to her. She loved to host Sunday dinners at her home with all her family in attendance. The delicious meal Bobbi Jo would cook could only be described as an enormous feast of fried chicken and potato salad where love could be tasted in every bite. As a spiritual woman, she was also an ordained minister, known as Reverend Ramsey, who loved to play guitar; and in her free time she loved to garden. Her family rests knowing that she is finally at peace and that they will one day again see their Bobbi Jo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Union County and to St. Judes. Holland Funeral Service is serving the Ramsey Family.
