Ms. Patricia Simms Abrams passed away peacefully at Atrium Union Hospital on January 31, 2022 in the wonderful care of the nurses on the 3rd Floor CCU. She was born February 28, 1957 to the late Roscoe Simms and Thelma Powers Simms. She is survived by a daughter and one granddaughter. Patricia loved her fur babies like they were her own children. She also loved gardening and her flowers. Although Patricia could be quite the drama queen at times and had a personality bigger than most, her family and friends loved her for exactly who she was. She made choices in her life that were not always the best for her or others but was working hard to turn her life around. Hopefully in her passing, she has found peace. She had many friends that cared for her deeply and will cherish the memories they had together. A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
