Mary Vrana, 84, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020. She was born December 1, 1936 to the late Frank Simmons and Ula Simmons of Whiteville, NC. Mary is also preceded in death by her sister, Faye Simmons Crump (Ralph) of Mint Hill, NC; and daughter, Norma Jean Crump (Sissy) of Cocoa Beach, FL. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mary is survived by her husband, Phil Vrana of Evans, GA; son, Tony Crump (Wendy) of Indian Trail, NC; siblings, Mildred Simmons Hinson (Robert) of Whiteville, NC, Joe Simmons (Carol) of Midland, NC, and Karen Simmons Huffman (Rick) of Grand Prairie, TX; and grandson, Chad Crump (Elsie) of Midland, NC.
