Ms. Margaret Starnes, 65, of Oak Island, NC passed away August 17, 2021. Ms. Starnes was born in Lancaster County, SC to the late Charlie Knight and Jessie Lee Dixon Knight. A service to celebrate her life was held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Union Baptist Association. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Annette Wheeler (Boyce), Crystal Starnes, and Dawn Wheeler (Calvin); grandchildren, Dana Farrell (Brandon), Logan Wheeler, Brooke Wheeler, Savannah Wheeler, Conner Wheeler, Serenity Wheeler, and Colton Wheeler; great-grandchild, Kendyl Farrell all of Monroe; brother, Willard Knight (Patricia) of Lancaster; and boyfriend, Morris. In addition to her parents Ms. Starnes was preceded in passing by her son, Marshall Junior Starnes II of Monroe; and sisters, Christine Rollings, and Barbara Knight of Lancaster, SC. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
