Mabel G. Deese age 87 of Monroe, NC passed away on July 8, 2024. She Was born in Ruby SC October 21, 1936, the daughter of the late Roachel and Nezzie Gulledge.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe NC 28112.

She retired from Yale Norton after 27 years of service. Mabel was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lockhart Deese and son David L. Deese and six brothers.

She is survived by her sister Margie G. Jordan of Ruby SC, a brother Graylon Gulledge of Salisbury, NC. A special niece Amy J. Hargett (Tony) of Monroe, NC and a special "grandson" Justin D. Hargett of Monroe, NC, a daughter- in- law LuAnne M. Deese and many other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Solid Rock Baptist Church located at 201 Claude Austin Rd. Monroe, NC 28112 or to Hospice of Union County.
