Lynn King, 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 21, 2022. She was born on February 18, 1940 in Spruce Pine, North Carolina to the late Homer and Sally Bartlett. Lynn is also preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Lewis King; sister, Jean Sparks; and brother, Ernest Bartlett. Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Holland Funeral Service. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00pm until 3:45pm prior to the service. Lynn is survived by her children, Jimmy (Cathy) King, Tonya (Joe) Link, Marsha (Randy) Medlin, and Stacy (Allen) Flowe; grandchildren, Tiffani (Jeremy) Knight, Lyndsie Link, Michael (Michelle) Hughes, Justin (Merrisa) Flowe, Carole King, and Katelyn Flowe; great grandchildren, Jeremy Jackson, Austen Knight, Emily Flowe, Sophia Hughes, Jace Knight, Allie Flowe, and Nathan Hughes; siblings, Buster Barlett, Barbara Clodfelter, Homer Jr. Bartlett, John (Kay) Bartlett, and Joe (Tina) Bartlett; and many other special friends and family. Lynn was a woman who loved her family and cherished every moment she was able to spend with them. She also loved to go shopping and loved cooking. Lynn could often be found cheering on her favorite team, the Tar Heels. She also had a love for animals and even collected elephant décor. Lynn had a beautiful soul and will be truly missed.
