Ms. Lovene Simpson Greene, 81, passed away February 4, 2025. She was born July 9, 1943 to the late James Roland Simpson and Annie Lee Mullis Simpson. In addition to her parents, Lovene is preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Rondall Greene, sister, Shirley Simpson Smith, and brothers, James Robert Simpson, and Steven Randal Simpson.

She is survived by her daughter, Michele Greene Handsel (Scott), grandson, Drew Handsel (Lauren), granddaughter, Madison Handsel, great-granddaughter, Andi Blake Handsel, great-grandsons, Noah Knight and one due in April; sister, Deane Simpson Reid, and brother, Troy Simpson.

A Visitation will be held from 2:00pm until 4:00pm on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Holland Funeral Service. The interment of Ms. Lovene's urn will be held at a later date.
