Ms. Linda Carol Rhodes, 75, of Ruby, South Carolina, passed away September 14, 2024. She was born in Union County, North Carolina on May 25, 1949 to the late Calvin Morris Sr. and Doris Black Morris. Linda will be remembered for being a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren at their sporting events and being involved with any and all of their hobbies. She loved Tweety Bird, doing puzzles and reading books. Linda will be missed and cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Eastwood Forest Baptist Church, 112 Aurora Blvd, Matthews, NC 28105. Ms. Rhodes will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn East Cemetery immediately following the service. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 10:00am until 10:45am.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Rhodes is preceded in passing by her daughter, Reetha Wheeler, brother, Calvin Morris Jr., and great-grandchild, Abigail Wheeler.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Frankie (Olivia), Boyce (Annette), Robin (Keith), and Calvin (Dawn); ten grandchildren, Chris, Daniel, Logan, Brooke, Savannah, Lindsey, Conner, Serenity, Colton, and Carter.
