Linda Anne Papineau, 71, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022. She was born September 16, 1950, to the late Philip and Georgia Hoyt. Linda was a wonderful and caring woman who loved her family dearly. She was a devoted mother, grandma, memaw, sister, aunt, and a friend to many. She spent many years working in healthcare and working in customer service. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00pm, on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. Linda Anne Papineau is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Lee, and Tara Deese (Greg Deese); five grandchildren, Megan Lee Nacsa (Ty Nacsa), Nicholas Lee, Gabriel Griffin (Jenna Griffin) Matthew Griffin, Hannah Griffin (Austin Donahue); four great-grandchildren, Camreigh Donahue, Logan Nacsa, Jesse Nacsa, and Paisley Griffin; two brothers, Philip Bjorndal Jr. (Maureen Bjorndal), and Mickey Bjorndal (Mary Bjorndal); and sister, Betty Mitchell (Doug Mitchell). She is preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Armand Papineau, mother, Georgia Bjorndal; father, Philip Bjorndal Sr.; and sister, Kathy Conroy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice of Union County.
