Ms. Linda Jenkins Knight, 77, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 1, 2025. She was born in Monroe, North Carolina on June 4, 1947 to the late J.C. Jenkins and Pauline Jenkins. Linda was a loving mother and grandmother. She was her family's protector, always making sure that her children and grandchildren were taken care of. Linda loved flowers and could often be found taking care of her flower beds. As a woman of strong faith in her Lord and Savior, Linda attended church as faithfully as she could but would often tune in online. Linda will be remembered for the love and care she would give to others. She was a jewel that brought so much happiness to all those that knew and loved her.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. Ms. Knight will be laid to rest at Centerview Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 11:00am until 11:45am.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Donophan "Don" Knight, sister, Polly Clark, and brothers, Johnny Jenkins, and Dennis Jenkins.

She is survived by her children, Lori Knight, Lisa Knight, and Scott Knight (Emily); grandchildren, Shelby Lee, Jesse Lee, Katie Jo Preslar, Lacy Lee, Madison Knight, and Maggie Knight; and numerous other special family members and friends.
