Mrs. Linda Louise Bishop passed away August 20th, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the daughter of Earl and Eva Burgess of Waxhaw NC.

Linda retired from Union County Public Schools. She was a bus driver. Linda also worked at various restaurants as a world famous "biscuit maker". She was known for the best biscuits in town.

Her hobbies were cake making and doll making. One of the things she loved the most was sitting on her beautiful front porch and visiting with any and all that came to see her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald "Runt" Bishop and her son Ronnie "Blue" Bishop. If you saw Linda, you saw Ronnie. She provided excellent care for him for 59 years. I am sure it was a joyous reunion.

In lieu of flowers. Memorials can be made to Hospice of Union County.
