Kimberly D. Cattie, November 24, 1961 – June 15, 2025

Kimberly D. Cattie, age 63 of Monroe, NC died on June 15, 2025, at Atrium Health Union. Kimberly was born in Charlotte, NC in 1961 to the late Harry D. Deese and Mary W. Deese and later moved with her family to Pageland, SC. Kimberly graduated in 1985 from The University of South Carolina with a BS Degree in Nursing and served in various nursing roles for over 15 years.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John V. Cattie, Banks their beloved Yellow Lab and sister Judy Rape and is survived by her sister Jean Twilley (Chuck); brother John Deese; and brother Thomas Deese (Kay) and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren along with her special fur babies, Stoney, Buttercup and Rain Rain who were her constant companions.

Kimberly attended West Monroe Baptist Church where she was active in Sunday school and in the card ministry.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 10:30 am with the Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Holland Funeral Services, 806 Circle Dr., Monroe, NC 28112.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Humane Society of Union County.
