It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kayla Dawn Hobbs, 31 who left us too soon on July 17, 2024. She was born July 13, 1993 in Monroe, NC. A daughter of Regina Zohn and David Hobbs. Kayla was a sweet, loving, wonderful person who loved her family and adored her nieces and nephews. Kayla was a beautiful soul who touched the lives of everyone she met. She never got over the loss of her brother, Allen.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30pm on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112.

Kayla is survived by her mother, Regina Zohn (Ed) of Monroe, father, David Hobbs (Krissi) of Ellenboro, siblings, Kimberly Allison (Jason), Roger Hobbs, Angel Hobbs, Carl Hobbs, and Sindy Hobbs. She is also survived by her grandparents, Fay Watters and Bonnie Hobbs, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her fiancé, Esther Clontz.

Kayla is preceded in passing by her brothers, Allen and Justin Hobbs, grandparents, David and Linda Hobbs and Carroll Strawn.
