Joyce Jewel Falkenburg, 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 12, 2020 and is now resting peacefully awaiting the sound of the last Trumpet. She was born April 21, 1941 to the late Milton & Mae Black. Joyce was preceded in death by her brothers, Olis Black and Russell Black. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Left to cherish Joyce's memory are her daughters, Maria Petty and Cynthia Hazel (Ricky); grandchildren, Preston Brady, Russell Petty Jr. (Laura), Christina Petty, Summer Hazel, Angela Petty, and Priscilla Petty. Joyce was a selfless and loving Momma and Nana who devoted her entire life to her children and grandchildren whom she loved with her whole heart. She was strong in her faith and proudly attended United Church of God. Among many things, Joyce loved to read and cook; but most of all, she loved to spend time with her family. Joyce's family finds comfort in the awaiting of the Resurrection knowing that they will see her again. Joyce will forever be cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
